About the songwriting process Jeanette Biedermann said:

" If I start to write songs, I try to have nothing to compare it end in mind, because you too tends to lean on something. I have not had it in the eye or set myself the target, it may sound like Kylie Minogue. I admire them very much and of course they therefore inspired to own things. Slow, for example, is one of my favorite songs from her. Sure, there might nests something in mind one, but realize we have not kept us Kylie sounds. "

Criticism

Undress to the Beat received mostly middling reviews. Wrote Matthias Reichel of CDStarts.de, the album was an attempt to capitalize on the chart success of other artists such as Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga, but continued to write:

" In fact, Jeanette Biedermann, the supercooled electro sound is not bad at all ... Here and there actually flash a couple of good ideas. As would be the example of the Tony Kanal ( No Doubt ) has been written by Dance - Stomper Freak Out, the Kylie Minogue -esque, or Feline futuristic Track Material Boy ( Do not Look Back ), one of the best songs on the album.
