United Space Alliance

The United Space Alliance is a joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin for the implementation of U.S. space activities on behalf of NASA. The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas and employs around 10,000 employees in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Washington DC Russia and an annual turnover of nearly two billion dollars. The United Space Alliance, making it the main industrial partner of NASA.


The mid-90s was the NASA dissatisfied by the fact that its space activities were carried out by several subcontractors. Since you wanted a single point of contact, Lockheed Martin and Rockwell International responded and formed the United Space Alliance. After taking over the Space Division of Rockwell Boeing Boeing took over Rockwell share.
