University of Castilla–La Mancha

The University of Castilla -La Mancha (Spanish: Universidad de Castilla -La Mancha, in the acronym often than UCLM ) is a public university founded in 1985, in the autonomous community of Castile -La Mancha, Spain. Its principal locations are the provincial capitals Ciudad Real, Toledo, Albacete and Cuenca, more facilities are located in Almaden, Talavera de la Reina and Puertollano.

The University is decentralized, individual sites have a high degree of autonomy. Seat of the Joint Rectorate is Ciudad Real, Albacete, Cuenca and Toledo, there is in each case vice rectors.

The University of Castilla -La Mancha has about 30,000 students, 1,300 academic staff and is a member of the university networks Universia, CRUE, EAIE and CGU. The university offers its 37 faculties and schools at 54 under and 65 post-graduate courses. Rector of the University since 2003, Ernesto Martínez Ataz.
