The University of Lyon (French Université de Lyon, Pôle Universitaire de Lyon ( PUL ). Engl Lyon University, University of Lyon ) is an association of universities in Lyon ( France).

Objectives

The University promotes its own international port and charisma. This includes the Information Centre for International Mobility, support for the reception of foreign researchers, advertising for the degree programs of the University of Lyon and the International Research Training Group.

The University enhances the image of the lyon research, recovery and strengthening their contribution to local economic development by publisher of Isotopes to the current research developments in Lyon. It will also coordinate the transfer of technology and operates a website for research and innovation: www.lyon - sciences.fr (French, English )

The university also promotes the integration of students into the city by appropriate information and services. It provides a focal point ( Com'Et ) for information about student life and cultural offerings available. The students are especially welcome. In addition, they distributed leaflets, has databases and guaranteed health care and support for the physically disabled.

The college develops and teaches the science, technology and corporate culture. The Centre for Science and Technology Culture is planning the Fête de la Science ( hard science ) in the department of Rhône. You kan also visit exhibitions, demonstrations, the night of the scientific cinemas, advanced training for science communication, organization of seminars and conferences

In addition, the students will be accompanied in the development and introduction of new media in teaching Accompagner.

History

The University of Lyon was founded in 1995 under the name Pôle Universitaire de Lyon.
