University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour

The University of Pau, in full official designation Université de Pau et des Pays de l' Adour (University of Pau and the Adour Region, also UPPA ) is a university in the French city of Pau with branch offices in the area, so in Bayonne, Tarbes and in Mont -de- Marsan.
The university was founded in 1971 and currently has about 12,000 students, making Pau to Bordeaux and Toulouse, the third most important university town in the southwest of France.
Campus
Pau
The main campus in Pau, with around 9,000 students still by far the largest of the university. There, next to the central facilities such as the University Library, the Faculty ( UFR: Unité de recherche et de formation ) settled in Literature, Language, and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Law and Economics and the Faculty of Science and Technology.
UFR of Law Economics, Business Management - IAE
The Faculty of Law and Economics and Business Management includes along with the IAE ( Institut d' Administration des Entreprises or FDEG - IAE) approximately 3,000 students.
