Unternberg (mountain)

The Unterberg Ruhpolding seen.

The lower mountain is 1425 meters high mountain south of Ruhpolding in Bavaria.

It is located in the Chiemgau Alps and can be reached either through the built in 1972 Unterberg cable car or by an easy hike. From the sub -Alm one has a good view of the Poschingerstraße wall, the fire stone and the Hochfelln. In addition, here you have a very good view of Ruhpolding and the Chiemsee in the background.
