Ursula Bruhin

Ursula Bruhin ( born March 19, 1970 in Schwyz ) is a former Swiss Profisnowboarderin.

Bruhin operates the sport of snowboarding since 1990. 1998 it was after the first successes in Alpine race in regional and Swiss Cup, pro and won in the same year, the first Swiss Championship. In the years 2000 to 2003, she won four consecutive world title of International Associations ISF and FIS. Because of controversial selection standards they missed the Olympic Winter Games 2002.

Until the age of 36 Ursula Bruhin still drove in the FIS World Cup at the top and finished second in the world rankings behind her compatriot Daniela Meuli second place. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, she went to the 7th place in the parallel giant slalom women. After the silver medal at the Swiss Championships in April 2006 she gave her resignation.

Ursula Bruhin exhausted claims to be motivated by the Christian faith. She is a trained pastry chef and lives in her birthplace of Schwyz.
