Ursula Rucker

Ursula Rucker Desiré (* in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is a musician and song writer from Philadelphia (USA).

As a child she held her daily observations in words. After a degree in journalism from Temple University, she joined in 1994 for the first time publicly and read their poems in a bar quickly drew it a reputation as a writer and published an unusual musical collaboration with King Britt entitled Supernatural. The production was a club hit and made Ruckers name in the (mainly electronic ) music scene quickly known. This was followed by collaborations with artists such as Josh Wink, 4hero and The Roots.

Since 2001, she was at Studio K7 ( Berlin) under contract and has released three albums on this label and three singles. In 2008 she worked on the album Sensin O with the Turkish Rapmusikerin Ayben and published along with her ​​song Will we ever learn.
