Urziceni (Satu Mare)

Urziceni ( Schinal German, Hungarian Csanálos ) is a municipality in the district of Satu Mare in northwest Romania.

The place is also known under the outdated names romanian Cenaloş, Cienaloş and Ceanaloş and the German name Schoental.

Local Politics

The mayor of the village, Iosif Mellau from the Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania, was re-elected in 2012.
