History

Construction

The Louisville was founded on September 24, 1984 set at Electric Boat in Kiel and launched on December 14, 1985. The naming ceremony was performed by Mrs. Kinnaird McKee. The boat was made ​​in the United States Navy on November 8, 1986 in service, their commander was Captain Charles E. Ellis.

Service history
