The USS San Jacinto (CG -56) Guided Missile Cruiser is a United States Navy and is a member of the Ticonderoga class.

History

Construction

The San Jacinto in 1983 at Ingalls Shipbuilding in order given and 1985 there Keel-laying. The launch took place after a construction period of 16 months, the commissioning took place in early 1988. The ship was named after the Battle of San Jacinto during the Texas Revolution.
