Uwe " Zico " Binding Forest 2008

Uwe binding forest ( born August 13, 1968 in Dorheim, now a suburb of Friedberg ), nicknamed Zico, is a former German football player.

Career

The defender started his football career at FSV Dorheim. About the Youth stations SG Melbach - Södel and Kickers Offenbach, he moved in 1986 to Eintracht Frankfurt. There he first came in the amateurs in the Oberliga Hessen used. His debut in the Bundesliga was binding forest in the 1988/89 season on 15 game against Werder Bremen ( 0-0). The Eintracht he remained loyal over 18 years, even after the descents from the Bundesliga in 1996 and 2001. Having received from the concord 2004 a new contract more, he joined after 18 years at 1 FC Eschborn in the Oberliga Hessen. With the conclusion of the season 2004/ 05 he ended his active career.

During his career he played 263 games in the Bundesliga 1 and 123 in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the European Cup tie forest was used 28 times. Here he scored twice. In the DFB-Pokal, he stood 28 times on the court.
