Uwe Stöver
Uwe Stoever ( born February 8, 1967 in Wuppertal ) is a former German football player and coach. Since 2009 he has served as athletic director / managing sports at second division club FSV Frankfurt.
Playing career
About the SV Borussia Wuppertal and the Cronenberger SC came Uwe Stoever 1989 Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen. On 27 February 1993 he made his debut in the Bundesliga and has been in the same season DFB Cup winner with the " work self ". After the season he moved to VfL Bochum in the second league. Here he became a regular player and was able to celebrate 1994 as the master promotion to the Bundesliga. After a year in the excellence with Bochum Stoever again left the club and went to the 1995/ 96 to the second division 1 FSV Mainz 05, 1997 in which he just missed the rise. Stoever was active as a player of the Rheinhessen and 1999.
Manager and coaching career
After the End of career Stoever was first head of marketing " 05er " ( 1999-2001). 1998/99 he then acted as manager of the A- youth and from 2000/2001 of the amateurs. In summer 2001 he left Mainz and went to the first FC Kaiserslautern to work as an A youth coach. On 3 September 2001 Stoever Michael Dusek superseded as coach of the amateurs. This office he held until September 2003. From April 2005 until the end of the season 2004/ 05 he was once caretaker coach of the second team, as the former coach Hans -Werner Moser interim coach was with the professionals. Stoever was from September 2003 to October 2007 Head of the FCK youth training center.
On 1 November 2007, Uwe Stoever sporting director at the then second division Wehen. On 23 March 2009 he was relieved of his duties. His employment was dissolved on 30 June 2009. Since the beginning of the 2009/10 season Stoever operates in the same position at FSV Frankfurt.
