uWink

UWink Inc. (stock symbol: UWKI ) is traded on the OTC Board Bulettin " Digital Entertainment " corporation with headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The company was founded in 2000 by Nolan Bushnell, the co-founder and former CEO of computer pioneer Atari and the restaurant chain Chuck E. Cheese.

First, the company has developed interactive entertainment software for restaurants, bars and mobile devices, however, was that only little success. In 2006, the business model has been revised and founded the first restaurant in Woodland Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles. A second branch was therefore also founded in June 2008 in Hollywood, in Los Angeles. That same year, a third branch in Mountain View was established near San Francisco, but closed again in April 2009. The other two branches were not affected by the closure.

In uWink restaurants, users can place orders using a touch screen. These are then passed on to the kitchen, without the customers have to be served by staff. On this screen, more than 70 computer games can be played, including multiplayer games.
