Václav Dobiáš
Václav Dobiaš ( born September 22, 1909 in Radočice, † May 22, 1978 in Prague) was a Czech composer.
Dobiaš studied in Prague with Josef Bohuslav Foerster and Vítězslav Novák. Since 1950, he taught as a professor of composition at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. He composed two symphonies, an overture, a Sinfonietta, chamber works, cantatas, song cycles and songs.
