Vadim Chaimovich

Vadim Chaimovich (Russian Вадим Хаймович ) ( b. 1978 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian pianist.

Life

He grew up in Vilnius (Lithuania). At age five he received his first piano lessons at seven he has already performed with a chamber orchestra within the USSR.

Even as a child he was honored for his piano playing several times with prices. At age 13, he celebrated a great success when he nad Labem (Czech Republic) won the 1st prize at the international competition " Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte " in Usti. There were other prizes and awards at international competitions in Lithuania, Poland and Russia. Vadim Chaimovich completed several university music studies with distinction. His teachers were two significant musicians: the Frankfurt Piano Professor Lev Natochenny and the Dresden pianist Peter Rosel, both student of the legendary Lew Oborin. The international master classes with famous artists such as Claude Frank, Rudolf Kehrer, Gary Graffman and Eugen Indjic were other important building blocks of his piano lessons.

Vadim Chaimovich was awarded in international competitions such as the Schubert Competition in Dortmund, Schlern Italy Music Competition, William Kapell International Piano Competition in Maryland (USA). He is also the winner of the 29 Master Players International Music Competition in Lugano ( Switzerland ), winner of the 10th International Competition "Web Concert Hall" and the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York.

He stepped in numerous concerts at home and abroad to, inter alia, in the context of Meranofestes in Italy, the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, the Schlern International Music Festival in Italy, the Styraburg Festival in Austria, the Dresden Music Festival, the Schleswig -Holstein Music festivals and the Kassel Music Days. In addition, he has performed with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Sinfonietta Dresden, Dortmund Philharmonic, the North Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Bacau and the Central German Chamber Philharmonic.
