Valeri Zolotukhin

Valery Sergeevich Zolotukhin (Russian Валерий Сергеевич Золотухин; born 21 June 1941 in Bystry Istok, Altai region, † March 30, 2013 in Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. He was honored for his achievements as a People's Artist of the RSFSR.

Life

Zolotukhin graduated 1963, the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts ( GITIS ). Since 1964 and until his death Zolotukhin played on Taganka theater in the plays The good man out of Sesuan, The Hero of Our Time, Boris Godunov, Vladimir Vysotsky and others. Since the late 1960s, the actor has also worked in the film. His most famous roles he played in the movies Chosjain taigi ( Lord of the Taiga ) ( 1969), Bumbarasch (1972 ), How the Tsar Peter married his Moors (1976) and Night Watch - Nochnoi Dozor ( 2004). Zolotukhin was the author of many memoirs, books, among other things, his close friend Vladimir Vysotsky.
