Valerie Mahaffey
Valerie Mahaffey ( born June 16, 1953, Sumatra ) is an American actress.
Life and career
Mahaffey grew up in Austin. She received an Emmy Award for her role in Northern Exposure. In Germany she became known for her role in Desperate Housewives. There, she played the role of the friendly and gregarious, but ultimately insane Alma Hodge.
Mahaffey is married and has one child.
