Valeriy Sokolenko

Valery Sokolenko ( born June 21, 1982 in Chernihiv ) is a Ukrainian footballer who is currently at the Ukrainian football club Chernomorets Odessa under contract. Sokolenko is defender, who is mainly used on the left side. He is 180 centimeters tall and weighs about 75 kilograms.

Career

Sokolenko started his professional football career in Borysfen. There, however, he only played a year from 2003 - 2004 He then moved to energetics, but even there he was not long under contract. (July 2004 - December 2005). Further stations were Górnik Łęczna ( January 2006 - June 2008), Chernihiv (June 2008 - December 2008) and Polonia Bytom (January 2009 - June 2009).

Between July 2009 and February 2011, he stood at Energie Cottbus under contract. His first competitive match use at FC Energie Cottbus he had 9 August 2009 against FC Augsburg, when he came on shortly before the final whistle. His first competitive game from the beginning he completed on 25 September 2009 against FSV Frankfurt. On his second league use him also achieved his first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In February 2011 Sokolenko moved to FK Chernomorets Odessa in the Ukrainian Perscha Liha.
