The Valjevo Airport or Divci Airport (Serbian: Aerodrome Valjevo / Aerodrome Divci or Аеродром Ваљево / Аеродром Дивци ) is an airfield in western Serbia.

The airport was built in 1996. The airport is around 12 km away from Valjevo in western Serbia. It is situated near the mountain resort Divčibare on the railway line Belgrade - Bar and the highway that connects Belgrade with Valjevo. The Valjevo airport is also known as the airport Divci, because it is located in the eponymous village Divci ( Valjevo ). It has a 1,250 m long and 50 m wide runway. The airport is used as a training venue and landing area of sport airplanes, gliders, parachutists and motorized hang gliders. The airport is built on grass floors and is situated at an altitude of 147 m above sea level. In 2010, the helicopter pilot school " Heli Master" was founded at the airport, the first in Serbia.

Future planning and owner

In recent years, the question of how to invest in the airport as its center to strengthen the Okrug Kolubara and the city of Valjevo economically. To enhance investment endeavor major regional economic units and the town of Valjevo, which is still interested in participating at the airport. A group of shareholders from the city of Valjevo and several private company operates the airport. The majority of the shares has "Aero Club Valjevo " with 41.72 %, followed by: the company " Termoelerktro " with 23,89 %, in third place is the company " Ikar " with 16,64 % and " Vujić Valjevo " with 13.68. Small amounts has the Opština Valjevo with 2.76%, as well as " JP Valjevo - turist " with 1.05 % and last Krušik with 0.26 % of the shares.
