The Metro Valparaíso, also called Merval (acronym of the Spanish name Metro Regional de Valparaíso ) is a traffic system, the Chilean city of Valparaíso. It combines a large part of the metropolitan area of Gran Valparaíso and is administered by Metro Regional de Valparaíso, a subsidiary of state-owned rail company EFE.

The Metro used the railway line from the port of Valparaíso to Santiago in urban areas of the cities of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Quilpué, Villa Alemana and Limache. From the station Puerto she leads first along the Pacific Ocean and then passes to an underground route through Viña del Mar. The opening took place on 23 November 2005.
