Vandenberg AFB Space Launch Complex 2
Vandenberg AFB Space Launch Complex 2 (SLC -2, pronounced " Slick Two" ) is an active launch site at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, USA.
The launch complex consists of the two launch platforms. The eastern platform SLC -2E, was used for Delta and Thor - Agena launches 1966-1972 under the name Launch Complex 75-1-1 and is now demolished. The western platform SLC -2W, was used for Delta, Thor - Agena, and Delta II launches since 1966 and is still in use for Delta II.
