Vanessa Marcil
Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo (* October 15, 1968 as Sally Vanessa Ortiz in Indio, California) is an American actress.
Life
A wide audience was Marcil known in her role as Brenda Barrett on the television series General Hospital. For the role she has held since 1992, she received two Emmy nominations in 1997 and 1998. She left the series in 1998 and played a guest role in Steven Spielberg's TV movie High Incident.
Marcil made her feature film debut in 1996 in The Rock - rock the decision. After her exit from General Hospital, she starred in two independent films Nice Guys Sleep Alone and This Space Between Us with.
Private life
Marcil was married from 1989 to 1993 with Corey Feldman, but what they first denied. From 1999 to the spring of 2003, she was romantically involved with actor Brian Austin Green. They have a son (born 30 March 2002). On July 11, 2010 Marcil married actor Carmine Giovinazzo in a private ceremony in New York. In June 2010, the couple had announced that they are expecting their first child; In December 2011, however Giovinazzo announced via Twitter that Marcil had suffered a miscarriage. On August 22, 2012 it was announced that Marcil had filed for divorce in Los Angeles. The reason was " irreconcilable differences" called.
