Carmine Giovinazzo
Carmine Dominick Giovinazzo ( born August 24, 1973 Staten Iceland, New York, USA) is an American actor.
Biography
Giovinazzo attended the Port Richmond Public High School and Wagner College. In addition, he ran track and played baseball and hockey. His first career choice was to become a professional baseball player, but after he incurred a back injury in college, he concentrated henceforth on an acting career. At the New York University (NYU ), he made numerous short films and various independent films. In 1997, he moved to Los Angeles and hired a manager. Shortly after, he got his first audition the role of a student in the pilot episode of Buffy - the Vampire Slayer.
Before his breakthrough Giovinazzo had several guest appearances in films such as Billy 's Hollywood Screen Kiss, For Love of the Game and Black Hawk Down. In 1999 he had his own sitcom titled Shasta McNasty. He stood with William H. Macy in In Enemy Hands in front of the camera. In the independent film The Red Zone he had a starring role, playing alongside Freddy Rodriguez and Peter Dobson.
2004-2013 Giovinazzo was in the series CSI: NY cast as Detective Danny Messer on the side of Gary Sinise. He was the first actor who has starred in all three CSI series. He was in the first episode of the third season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Hidden pilot of the series CSI: Miami to see as Danny Messer: NY in the episode 23 of season 2 of CSI.
Giovinazzo comes from a police family. His father, his sister and brother in law were at the New York City Police Department.
Since July 2010, Giovinazzo is married to actress Vanessa Marcil, who has a son from a previous relationship with Brian Austin Green. Marcil submitted in summer 2012 for a divorce.
