Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc. is a US-based car rental company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Vanguard operates under the brands Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental over 1500 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The rental fleet consists of approximately 275,000 vehicles. Vanguard bought Alamo and National in 2003 by the ANC Rental Corporation.

In March 2007, Europcar took over the European operations of the brands National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car, Vanguard is now focused on the North American market. In August 2007, the previous owner of the company, the private equity firm Cerberus, Vanguard sold to the competitors Enterprise ( car rental).
