Vasilevo, Republic of Macedonia

Vasilevo ( mazedon. Василево ) is a village in the southeast of the Republic of Macedonia. It lies in a valley between about 5 km distant city of Strumica and the city Radoviš and is the administrative center of the homonymous municipality.

The municipality includes 18 villages Vasilevo and has 12,122 inhabitants ( 2002 census ), of which about 10,000 Macedonians and 2,000 Turks. The area of ​​the municipality is 230.40 km ².
