Vasili Mitrokhin

Vasili Mitrokhin Nikititch (Russian Василий Никитич Митрохин, scientific transliteration Vasily Mitrokhin Nikitič; * March 3, 1922 in the village Jurassowo, Ryazan Oblast, Russia, † 23 January 2004, London), was from 1948 until his retirement in 1984 member of the KGB, most recently with the rank of colonel. On November 7, 1992, he ran over to the UK with the help of British intelligence SIS.
