Velankanni (Tamil: வேளாங்கண்ணி Velankanni [ ʋe ː ː ɭa ŋɡəɳ ː i]; well Velānganni, Vailankanni ) is a city in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu with 10,144 inhabitants ( 2001 census).
