Venta River

The Venta ( German: Ventspils ) is a river in north-western Lithuania and western Latvia. It rises near Kuršėnai in the Lithuanian Šiauliai district and flows ( German: Ventspils ) at Ventspils in Latvia in the Baltic Sea.

In its course the Venta happened the places Užventis, Viekšniai, Mažeikiai in Lithuania, Skundra and Kuldīga ( German: Gold rings ) in Latvia.
