Ventosa

Ventosa is one of 11 parroquias the community Candamo in the autonomous community of Asturias in Spain.

Traditional livelihood of the Parroquia is the livestock industry. Ventosa is accessible via the AS- 227 and the feve.

The parish church of the village is dedicated to St John ( Parish Church of San Juan de Ventosa ). In addition to the patronal festival on June 24 (Fiesta de San Juan ) is on 2 February, the candles Festival ( Fiesta de Las Candelas ) and celebrated on 22 June, the "Fiesta de La Magdalena " in La Mafalla.
