Vera Barbosa

Vera Barbosa ( born January 13, 1989 in Vila Franca de Xira ) is a Portuguese athlete. She is Portuguese record holder in the 400 - meter hurdles.

Career

Barbosa's family is from Cape Verde. Your athletic career began in 2005 at the club JOMA in Monte Abraão. In 2007 she participated in the Portuguese nationality, which allowed her to attend the national championships. In winter 2010, she won her first title at the Portuguese Indoor Championships over 400 meters. In the same year she moved to Sporting Lisbon and was national champion over 400 meters hurdles.
