Vera Begić

Vera Begić ( born March 17, 1982 in Rijeka) is a Croatian discus thrower. She is 1.69 m tall.

At the Junior World Championships in 1998 she reached the twelfth, at the Youth World Championships in 1999 to fourth place. At the World Junior Championships 2000, she was fifth. In 2002 she participated in the European Championships. At the 2003 Universiade was eleventh and tenth at the Universiade 2005. 2005 to the Mediterranean, games Begić was third and won the bronze medal. At the European Championships in 2006, she took the 14th place. At the European Cup Winter Throwing 2009, she took first place with a distance of 59.27 m. At the European Championships 2010, she was seventh.
