Vera Krasnova
Vera Ivanovna Krasnowa (Russian Вера Ивановна Краснова, transliteration Vera Ivanovna Krasnova; born April 3, 1950 in Omsk, Omsk Oblast ) is a former Soviet speed skater.
Krasnowas best season was 1972, when they finished second in the all around competition European Championships in Inzell over the 500 - m range, the only race in which they took. In the same year she won the silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Sapporo over the same distance also. At the end of the season it was for the second time Soviet champion over 500 m.
