Vernon Watkins

Vernon Phillips Watkins (* June 27, 1906 in Maesteg, † October 8, 1967 in Seattle, Washington) was a Welsh poet.

Influenced by the work William Butler Yeats, he treated in his poems mostly nature and folklore his home in South Wales. In 1957 he published by his friend Dylan Thomas ( 1914-1953 ) letters addressed to him.
