Occurrence
The Arkansas bill Aster is found in marshes, wet meadows, in sparse lowland forests and along stream banks in the south of the central United States.
Use
The Arkansas bill switch is rarely used as an ornamental plant for pond shore and marsh beds. The species is probably at least since the year 1800 in culture.
