Verona van de Leur

Verona van de Leur (born 27 December 1985, Gouda) is a former Dutch gymnast.

Van de Leur began with five years T.O.O.S. Waddinxveen with gymnastics at; from the age of nine she did gymnastics as a top athlete at Pro Patria Zoetermeer.

In 2000, she appeared on the national level for the first time in appearance, as they for juniors won the all-around finals and three devices at the Dutch championship. A year later she became the first national champion in the seniors. With the Dutch team reached surprising fifth place at the World Championships in Ghent. Hereby they were sports team of the year 2001.

The Gymnastics European Championships in 2002, Van de Leur won no less than five medals at the European Gymnastics Championships in Patras.
