Veronica Grace Boland

Veronica Grace Boland ( born March 18, 1899 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, † June 19, 1982 ibid ) was an American politician. In the years 1942 and 1943, she represented the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Veronica Boland attended the public schools of their home and the Scranton Technical High School. She married the politician Patrick J. Boland and as a member of the Democratic Party. After the death of her husband, who died as the incumbent congressman, she was elected at the election due in the eleventh electoral district of Pennsylvania as his successor in Congress. Between November 1942 and March 3, 1943 3 she finished there the opened legislature. For a further term of office she was not available.

About the professional life of Veronica Boland before and after their short time Congress nothing has survived. She died on June 19, 1982 in Scranton.
