Verse (Band)

Verse is a straight edge hardcore band from Providence, Rhode Iceland, United States. You belong with Have Heart and Bane of the pioneers and most influential bands of the modern oldschool hardcore. Their lyrics are usually very politically but also written critical of society.

History

The band was founded as a side project of What Feed The Fire frontman Sean Murphy in 2003, began her career without a singer since Sean Murphy initially took the role of the drummer. Only after Mike Hall joined the band, Murphy took the part of the singer. With Eric Lepine and Mark Lennon on guitar and Matt Amore on bass, the band for the first EP " Four Songs " was complete. Before verses their first LP "Rebuild " recorded, Mark Lennon should leave the band. Whose part was then replaced by the Rhode Iceland also active Brian Wilcox ( Rampage ). As a drummer Mike his actual band distance left, the verses had plenty of time on the east coast of the USA to tour and record their debut album. After this release, the band played concerts throughout the United States.

Verse 8 February 2009 gave its resolution known.

On 9 December 2011, the band on the website of the label Bridge Nine Records announced that they came together again in 2012 and go on tour.
