VictoraÈ™ Iacob

Constantin Iacob Victoraş ( born October 14, 1980 in Ramnicu Valcea, Valcea county ) is a Romanian football player. Since summer 2013 he is without a club.

Career

Jacob started the football game in his hometown at Flacara Râmnicu Vâlcea. From there he moved in 1999 to the capital to Rocar Bucharest, for whom he made ​​his debut in the defeat against FC Arges Pitesti in Divizia A on December 4, 1999. After the following season, he moved in 2001 for a year to Universitatea Craiova, to then return to the capital to FC Naţional Bucharest. In 2003 he left FC Naţional again to get Oţelul Galaţi to join. Until the second half of the 2003/04 season, in which he played for Rapid Bucharest, he remained loyal to the club until 2005. After obtained for him with 13 goals very successful season 2004/ 05 he moved to the reigning champions Steaua Bucharest, who could defend with him a year later the title. He is a tall (1.90 m) and aerially strong striker, who was one of the key players of the club.

During the winter break of the 2007/2008 season, he joined the German second division club 1.FC Kaiserslautern where he signed a contract until the summer of 2010 due to injury and could not come into play.

On 11 July 2008, the club announced the contract " for important " reasons, with immediate effect. Iacob then returned to Romania and plays since the beginning of 2009 in CS Otopeni. Since July 2009, he plays for the Greek club Iraklis Thessaloniki. There he was able to achieve eleven goals in his first season, but was also sent off five times. In summer 2011, he joined local rivals Aris Thessaloniki. This he left after only half a year and returned to CS Concordia Chiajna in his Romanian homeland.
