Victoria Tennant

Victoria Tennant ( born September 30, 1950 in London) is a British actress.

Life and achievements

The father of Victoria Tennant, who died in 1967 Cecil Tennant, worked as an agent in the entertainment industry. His customer Laurence Olivier was Victoria's godfather. Her mother Irina Baronova was a Russian ballet dancer. Victoria Tennant studied at London's Central School of Speech and Drama.

Tennant's debut in a major role took place in the British film The Ragman 's Daughter ( 1972). For her role in the mini television series The Winds of War, she was nominated for the 1984 Golden Globe Award. In the comedies solo for 2 and LA Story she starred opposite Steve Martin in, in the thriller The 4 1/2-Billionen-Dollar-Vertrag she starred opposite Michael Caine in the thriller bestsellers starred opposite James Woods and Brian Dennehy. For the Comedy Edie & Pen, in which they performed together with Stockard Channing, Jennifer Tilly and Scott Glenn, she also wrote the screenplay.

Tennant married four times in total. Between 1986 and 1994 she was married to Steve Martin, since 1996 she has this with the actor and film producer Kirk Stambler.
