Vietnam Open (Badminton)
The Vietnam Open is the open international championships from Vietnam in badminton.
They were first held in 1996 due to the increased efforts of the Vietnamese Badminton Association to increased quality and increased internationality in badminton sport. At the debut of the Vietnam Open the later Asian champions Lee Wan Wah and Choong Tan Fook her first international title won. After another host 1997 championships stopped for a long break before heading back became established from 2006 in the BWF calendar. 2007 they belong to the BWF Grand Prix.
