VÃgľaÅ¡
Vígľaš ( until 1927 slovak " Vígľaš "; Hungarian Végles ) is a town in central Slovakia. It lies in the valley Zvolenska kotlina Slatina on the river at the foot of the mountain Javorie, 15 km away from Zvolen.
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1393. It developed as a settlement below the castle Vígľaš. In addition to the main village belongs to the municipality also the place Pstruša.
The town has a station on the railway line Zvolen, Košice.
