Villa Paranacito

Villa Paranacito is a small town in the southeastern province of Entre Ríos in the center of Argentina.

Population

The official population is 3,998 ( 2001 census). The population tripled in the 1990s, so nearly; in the 1991 census, only 1,035 inhabitants were counted. By one estimate, the city government on the official website of the city currently has 7,500 inhabitants, of whom 4,000 are located in urban areas and the rest in rural areas.

History

The settlement was founded on 25 May 1906 by European emigrants. At first she was only accessible by water. 1937 Villa Paranacito was connected to the road network, in 1971 the power grid. In 1982, the municipality of Villa Paranacito was established in 1987 and set up current valid size of its territory to 1,970 km2.
