Vince DiCola

Vincent L. DiCola ( born in 1957 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is an American film composer and keyboard player.

Life

DiCola moved to training as a percussionist to California. Initially, he worked as a studio musician and played synthesizer for Juice Newton. In 1983 he was involved with Frank Stallone as a composer for the film Staying Alive. For the composed with Stallone title Far From Over, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, he also received a Grammy Award nomination for his work on the soundtrack of the film. In 1986, he was the soundtrack to Rocky IV - The fight of the century, however, awarded the Golden Raspberry for worst soundtrack of the year. In the same year DiCola composed the music for Transformers - The Movie and 2004 for the movie Sci -Fighter.

DiCola released three solo albums; Artistically Beatles album from 1993 consists of cover versions of Beatles songs. He also worked as a musician and producer for artists such as Rick Springfield and Glenn Hughes.
