The Vineyard Sound off the coast of the state of Massachusetts in the United States is the connection of Rhode Iceland Sound on the west and Nantucket Sound to the east. It separates the island of Martha 's Vineyard from the Elizabeth Islands and the southwestern part of Cape Cod
