Viper (Six Flags Great America)

Viper at Six Flags Great America ( Gurnee, Illinois) is a wooden roller coaster that was produced in-house and the park was opened on 29 April 1995. She is also the only roller coaster that has ever been built in-house by Six Flags. The course is based on the Cyclone at Coney Iceland.

The 1054 meter long track reaches a height of 31 m and has a descent of 24 m. The maximum speed is 81 km / h and the train has a maximum slope of 53 °.

Viper has two trains of the Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters manufacturer with five cars. In each carriage six people ( three rows of two people) take place. Passengers must be at least 1.22 m tall to ride allowed.
