Virgil Miller
Virgil E. Miller ( born December 20, 1887 in Coffeen, Illinois, † October 5, 1974 in Hollywood, California ) was an American cinematographer.
Life
Miller began his career as a cameraman in 1917 and remained active as such until the year 1956. In 1964 he published under the title Splinters from Hollywood tripods his autobiography. All his life he was involved in more than 150 productions.
For his work on the documentary Navajo Miller was nominated in 1953 for Best Cinematography Oscar.
