Visceral Games

Visceral Games (formerly EA Redwood Shores ) is an American game developer based in Redwood Shores in the U.S. state of California. The studio is owned by Electronic Arts.

Introduction

The game developer is primarily known for the development of the survival horror game Dead Space. In May 2009 the club was renamed to better reflect the studio culture, identity and focusing on strong action-oriented games ( by his own admission ). The studio was led until 2009 by the Vice President and General Manager Glen Schofield, Sledgehammer Games before this started. Several games to the film series, The Godfather and James Bond were also developed by Visceral Games.

History

  • In October 2008, the game Dead Space for the PC ( Windows), was released the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
  • In May 2009 it was announced that EA Redwood Shores was renamed Visceral Games studio to the cultural highlight better.
  • In December 2009 it was announced that the studio developed at Dead Space 2. The game was released in January 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and Pc ..
  • In October 2010 it was announced that the studio is working on 4 other titles.
  • The Australian Visceral Games Melbourne branch was closed on 26 September 2011 due to lack of orders.
