Vito Bonsignore

Vito Bonsignore ( born July 3, 1943 in Bronte) is an Italian politician of the party Popolo della Libertà.

Life

Bonsignore studied economics. From 1970 to 1980 he was a member of the municipal council of Venaria Reale. From 1987 to 1994 he was a deputy in the Camera dei deputati. Since 2004, Bonsignore is a deputy in the European Parliament. He is a former member of the national leadership of the Christian Democrats (DC) and was later a member of the national leadership of the Unione dei Cristiani e di Centro Democratici (UDC ), before he stepped Il Popolo della Libertà.
