Viva, Viva a FRELIMO

Viva, viva o FRELIMO from 1975 to 2002, the official national anthem of Mozambique.

Was composed the hymn in 1975 by Justino Sigaulane Chemane.

She remembers lyrically and thematically very strong at Patria, the hymn of East Timor. The issue raised in the hymn FRELIMO is the party which in 1975 brought about the independence of the country and was until 1994 only approved state party. The party remained even after the free parliamentary elections in Mozambique in 1994 in power. Due to the transition to a multiparty system was the same composer but in 2002 the new anthem Patria Amada composed, is not mentioned in the FRELIMO.
